Strong Chicago political events. Copernicus Center. And Very Easy to get out to the Suburbs Also there is a lot of places to walk to. Quiet and not to much going on. Minutes from anything you want to do. Very close to transportation. A lot of parks around for walk dogs or kids to play in. Public pools around the area perfect for the summertime. Streets are regularly cleaned and alleys are not dirty like city alleys.

The community really seems to work together to make it a nice clean safe area for anyone to live. There is a lot to do for adults as well. Downtown Jefferson park is alive with restaurants, bars and stores to visit. Great area. Safe ". Easy access to PT". The Neighborhood is clean and Friendly. You can walk to the park or walk for coffee. Very Convenient ". Not a lot of things to do.

Safe, clean and convenient for shopping and transportation. Some people want a dog park in Jefferson Park. I do not agree". It is terrible.

I would say everyone is welcoming ". Great place to live. Peaceful, quiet, and clean. Great neighborhood. Never once did I or my spouse have to worry about anything. People are nice and school are good also ". Access to public transportation is great in case my car breaks and I when I need to go to downtown, I prefere to take the train.

Garvy J Elementary School. Pretty bad. Inside the Jefferson Park fieldhouse, residents of all ages congregate to participate in arts, sports and social groups, such as both an active teen club. The all-volunteer Citywide Orchestra practices at Jefferson Park and performs seasonal concerts for the community. Adults can also participate in making chamber music, while youth take piano, violin and cello lessons.

The park has regular arts and crafts classes, as well as special holiday workshops for children. Tumbling and gymnastics remain a mainstay at Jefferson Park, and its teams have won numerous awards in citywide competitions.
