Steak was superb, cheaper than most big chain steakhouses…. Great place to eat. I eat here every time I'm in downtown Memphis. Be sure to call ahead for seating or you will be waitng. This place was so quiet and hidden away. It is like it is in an old house, with multiple rooms. We discovered it from the Memphis Flyer coupon. Our first space- which will always hold a special place in our hearts- was destroyed in a fire in After 2 years of incredibly hard work, owner Kathy Owad opened the doors again in January in our present location on W. The menu resembles the original grumpy's style with fresh, "feel good" ingredients in our Cleveland-style comfort food.
